COSA NOSTRA

This is one of the photoshoots in the series of PIXELATE 2010. It involves the Mafia theme obviously from the title. We're inviting all local professional/ hobbiest/ amateur photographers to join us this August. The dates are tentative and the location might be the Government Center of Bacolod. It is also to promote the city. So anyway, we'll be there somewhere in August. See you!

Several teams are involved here. Hitsuzen Inc and another new team will be introduced too. Hope to see you guys there! Please check for updates! ^_^

After 3 years...

It's fun to see people walking around wearing costumes. Hey, I've been there...still there and loving it. It's been roughly 3 years now. I miss being with my complete team. Most of us are either in Manila or somewhere...US (RO, I miss you!). I wish we could be together this October 2010! Eli, please...please come home. What to write about? Hmmm.... I've been scanning through sites and found this account in FB.

With regards to what's happening here in Bacolod. Well, Von of Hitsuzen Inc started this beautiful Sunday Cosplay Stroll in the Government Center. Cosplayers walk about every twice a month. If you're here in Bacolod, try and check it out. You guys can pose and take pictures with the characters that are present. This July 2010, Bluecrush is also hosting a convention in Talisay City. For details please visit their site or Hitsuzen's. So far, I have no details in hand. I'll update you on it. I have several events coming up...but still waiting for confirmation. ^^ It'll be something - that's all I have to say. Watch out for more updates!

POST ANBUFEST FEELAMAJEEBERS

Hi to all. To those who enjoyed the event and thanked me thousands of times, thank you so much too...for making it possible. WHY? Because if you guys did not support the event by getting out of your closets and strutting it up, the event won't work at all. So, thank you to all the COSPLAYERS. Let me share something about the ANBU FEST program. Firstly, I apologize for not being able to stick with the program. My gosh! The crowd can't be controlled. Honestly, we DID NOT expect this BIG a crowd. For a pioneer event...that was more than AWESOME! People were impressed at how big the crowd is. 5:00pm...I was encouraging people at the 888 entrance to proceed to the events center because no one was there. I was WORRIED SICK! "NO AUDIENCES?!?" - I was thinking... LOL! But hell, the audience blew me away! Thank you, CROWD!!!

Secondly, to the photographers that entered the Participant's Area with no ID, !@*& - but i know how you feel. LOL! Yeah, I adore your excitement to take pictures of cosplayers... Gosh! You guys were UNCONTROLLABLE! But now that I know, I better check on this AREA of STRATEGY the next time around... HEHEHEHEH-HE. The program basically went to a POOF when the photographers AND the COSPLAYERS gladly INDULGE each other! XDDDD But hell, its cool y'all... Next time, we're gonna organize it in detail...MORE DETAILED RULES. Thanks!

Thirdly, I thank the sponsors for making this possible. Thanks so much, Fred...Tito Rex...Ian...the 888 China Town Staff, Mark Gomez, Anne, Pepsi, Smackdown, ElieShoppe and to those who're not mentioned here...you know yourselves. My brain is buzzing and is too tired to remember...got no sleep yet. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
Cosplayers, you guys were awesome! I was so proud as the introduction of cosplayers commenced. It was like...a dream. THIS IS HAPPENING! THIS IS REALLY HAPPENING! - I was chanting... For those who found this very out-of-the-world, I won't blame you guys for not FEELING it... But yeah, I was really happy that AT LAST, Cosplay launched here in Bacolod. THANK YOU members of TINTA and HITSUZEN for supporting me all the way. I was a little bitter when you guys were taking pictures with people while I was stuck on stage and can't shout he orders. Grrrr.... But hell, I know how you guys feel. ^_^ Thanks so much for being patient with me and for believing in what we aim to do. And to the YUYA TEAM! HAHAHHA! What a way to celebrate the new year, huh?! It was a HELL of a NIGHT!!!

"MALUNGGAY ADAN is also HIDAN!"
---only to those who understand will this line be significant. To those of you who keep on texting me...unknown numbers...about when the NEXT EVENT will be... You'll be informed. Count on it. ^^ Just tune in here or listen for news. I won't forget you guys...and we'll reach you guys. WE WILL. God bless to all!

The SUDDEN BURST of...disappointments...

Katz here... Fufu's been given the task to take care of this site with me. Anyway, everything about the promotions of ANBUFest did not go well. Well, yeah maybe to others...it's seem pretty normal. But for me, I'm a bit disappointed. For one, the streamers' print is NOT correct. Not that I'm being a COMPLAINING BITCH here...but...well, we sent the FINAL layout on time...but... Sigh. I guess what's done is done. Anyway... ANYWAY! I still haven't heard from the MOR emcee... I'm getting anxious because people who said they'll support...DO NOT. I mean...I don't want to mention the exact names...and believe me, I don't know them. So if you think this is you...and I know you...it's NOT you. LOL! If you're wondering who, ask me in person next time we meet. Hehehhe... I'm sure MAC from Hitsuzen Inc knows...

With regards to costumes... My costume is still NOT complete. After all...I am organizing this "SHIT" - as what a BITCH called it. Yeah..and I'm juggling two productions...and it's scaring the SHIT out of me...and the fact that my weapon is still not finished...adds to the pressure and the stress that's eating me out...worst is...because of the STRESS, I am LITERALLY....EATING OUT! DAMN...and I was aiming to lose weight!

I hope everything goes well...prizes are up and a little more ironing...we're set to go. I'm thankful that people care...and I thank God for giving me strength, the team and Hitsuzen Inc... Gosh... Let's FRIGGIN DO THIS!!! URRRRGGHHH!!! We're gonna ROCK Bacolod, I swear!

Farting out... XD

ANBU FEST 2010 GENERAL GUIDELINES

GENERAL GUIDELINES FOR
ANBU FEST 2010

1. All people wishing to partake in ANBUFest 2010 must register for the event in advance at the registration desk with the organizing teams. Fill-in all appropriate/applicable information you are required of to ensure the traffic in the event proper.
2. Registration will officially start by 3:00 PM - 5:30 PM. Anyone who fails to register on the said time will not be allowed to participate in the games.
3. Submit weapon-crafts to the members of organizing team at the registration tables for inspection to ensure general public’s safety.
4. Entrants must be inside the cosplayer holding area 15 MINUTES before the event start time (individual/groups) they registered in. No changes in groupings will be allowed after the registrations end.
5. Group entrants are obliged to have a minimum of five (5) members and a maximum of ten (10).

COSPLAYER PERFORMANCE RULES

1. The ANBU Performance will take form of an onstage walk-on followed by a short performance of your choice. Individual/group cosplayers are allotted 30 seconds onstage time bearing the following in mind:

a. Skits / presentations must be no longer than 30secs. Performers are allotted 10secs to set-up and 10secs to exit in addition to the 30secs allotted.

    1. NO leaping or climbing on or off stage.
    2. Toy weapons/weapon crafts will be allowed provided they are submitted for inspection by the registration areas prior to the events. Any “live” weapons will result to immediate eviction. Also no food, animals or remote control devices are permitted.
    3. Any sort of stage fighting/acrobatics is to be limited within the SAFETY LINE.
    4. What goes on the stage with you comes off the stage with you. For safety reasons, things like confetti, fireworks, flash paper or other forms of pyrotechnics, rose petals, water and other small messy objects are strictly prohibited around the stage area.
    5. Skit content must have a rating no higher than “PG-13”. ANBUFEST is an all-ages event. Any explicit swearing, nudity and obscene gestures and mannerisms are prohibited and can result in disqualification.

COSPLAYER OUTFIT RULES

Though some of the cosplay events at ANBU fest are judged, and therefore have more specific rules, every cosplayer must abide by the basic list of guidelines:

1. Cosplayers may have the liberty to alter/modify their ANBU suits provided that outfits should not be so revealing as to warrant indecent exposure charges. All body parts should be covered and not require constant pulling, tugging and straightening. A good rule of thumb is not to wear anything that cover less what you can wear in the pool or the beach.

2. During the Anbufest, participants are trusted to be responsible of their weapons and other accessories. In areas that are extremely congested and narrow (like in the booth/kiosk areas), entrants will be asked to modify their costume in public part of the event center; we realize that a lot of work has been put into the outfit. During the Cosplay event judging or if one is within the holding area, cosplayers are permitted to wear their cosplay in its original unaltered form.
